Welcome to the John Beresford Foundation, Inc. website.
The Foundation itself was established and funded in 2006 by friends and associates of John's to honor his very personal contributions to the communities he moved within as an artist and community activist.
To honor John, the Foundation uses funds not only to assist communities in using their urban park lands as tools for change, but also to support and fund arts programs and scholarships for young people where such opportunity is otherwise missing.
We have much work to do and we need your help. Begin by joining us at the Cutler Majestic Theatre at Emerson College on May 17, 2006 for the official unveiling of the Foundation.
The show, titled Forest for the Trees, will be a night to remember always.
